About Club Dues

Club Dues are $2 a Month. They are used primarily for member benefits such as the following:
Prizes/Raffles
Members of DC Anime Club who pay club dues are automatically entered into the club raffle/trivia games. Prizes include, but are not limited to Anime CD's, Anime DVD's, Posters, Wallscrolls, Plushies. Those who pay the club dues are automatically entered into a raffle during club meetings. Raffles start at 2pm.

Anime Conventions
For those of you who attend Anime Conventions, club dues are used to pay for half of your pre-registration for local cons such as Katsucon and Anime USA. We the DC Anime Club always take advantage of the group pre-reg at cons.

Discounts at Anime Stores
Members who pay club dues will be given a membership card, which entitles you to discounts at the following stores:
Pandora's Cube
Anime Pavilion

The discounts range from 10-20 percent off purchases.
All New Members who wish to take advantage of the special Discounted anime convention registration by DCAC must pay $20 and must attend at least 3 Club meetings. (THIS IS ONLY IF new members wish to take advantage of the Discounted anime convention registration.)

MEMBERS OF DCAC ARE NOT PAYING FOR CLUB MEETINGS.

In order to pay club dues, members may write a check or money order (made out to "DC Anime Club") and send it to:

Club members can also pay using Paypal, on the front page of the Web site.

Cash will be accepted during club meetings.

You can not skip a month when paying club dues. Those who skip a month will still have to pay for the month they miss. Also, you will be placed on a one-month probation.

During the probation, members will not be allowed to participate in Club Raffles. Part of the probation will require the member to participate/volunteer their time in helping with upcoming DCAC Events.

A list of who has paid their club dues will be posted on the forums and mailing list each Month.

Member who wish to pay their dues in advance may do so.

We welcome and appreciate all donations by individuals who are not members of DC Anime Club.
